Gujarat Frontier were today crowned as the overall champion in the first Inter-Frontier Night Firing Competition organised by city-based Central School of Weapons and Tactics of the Border Security Force (BSF).
Gujarat Frontier scored overall 45 points to emerge victorious.
Mizoram and Cachar Frontier and Tripura Frontier secured the second and third place respectively with 44 and 34 points.

In this competition, 296 shooters from eleven teams took part.
The shooters from Gujarat Frontier won the Rifle Challenge Cup and Sniper Rifle Challenge Cup.
Tripura Frontier won the Light Machine Gun Pair Challenge Cup.
Mizoram and Cachar Frontier won the Storm Submachine Gun Baretta Challenge Cup while North Bengal Frontier won the Pistol Challenge Cup.
CSWT's Inspector General Pankaj Gumar said that these shooters will take advantage of the experience gained here in their professional careers.
