IOB bags award for excellence in SHG programme

: Public sector Indian Overseas Bank Tuesday said it has bagged the award for excellence in performance under the self-help group bank linkage programme in Tamil Nadu.

Statet fisheries minister D Jayakumar at a function held recently presented the award to the bank's executive director Ajay Kumar Srivastava, a press release said.

The award was in recognition to the city-based bank for its performance in the self-help group linkage programme during 2018-19, the release said.
