IOB men defeat Indian Navy

Indian Overseas Bank today defeated Indian Navy 65-42 in the 50th All India Basketball tournament for PSG Trophy for men underway here.

S Prasanna scored 13 points, Amyjot SIngh 11 and Sivabalan seven points for the winners, while Kamal Deep singh played well for the losers with seven points.

Bankmen led 36-18 during the half time.

In a match for the 13th CRI Pumps Trophy for Women, Eastern Railway today beat South East Central Railway 82-46.

Sitamani Tudu potted 22 points, whiale Madhu Kumari 19 for the winners, for the losers, Bharti Netam 14 and Anju Lakra 13 points.
