The Supreme Court today asked Syed Mohammad Kazmi, an accused in the Israeli diplomat attack case, to approach the Delhi High Court for transfer of his case to another trial court.
A bench comprising justices J Chelameswar and Shiva Kirti Singh, allowed Kazmi to raise the issue of biasness of the trial judge against him for seeking transfer of the case to another court.
Kazmi's counsel, Mehmood Pracha, contended he was not granted an opportunity to argue on framing of charges in the case.
He also submitted that on May 3 the trial court had only heard arguments on Kazmi's application for discharge and the court said he had argued on framing of charges, which was wrong.
