A young doctor reportedly
has gone missing from Bana in East Kameng district of Arunachal Prdesh from December 20.
Dr Okit Peyang (32), was serving as medical officer, Bana where he had joined in May this year as his first posting.

Son of Nying Peyang of Tuting under Upper Siang district, the medical officer, as per reports, went to the government quarter of one contingency mate (PWD) on December 19 night and was with him.
He went out from there the next day and thereafter, he was missing, official sources said here today.
Meanwhile, East Kameng DC Tarin Dakpe along with police authorities rushed to Bana and instructed massive search operation involving Army from Tenga Valley for rafting besides gaon burahs, panchayat members and public.
The rafting team will undertake search operation starting from Bana to Bhalukpong through Bichom and Kameng rivers.
The search is on from other sources as well with the staff of medical department, government staff of Bana, police were on constant hunt for the missing doctor.
However, the searchers have yet to get any clues of the doctor's whereabouts.
