Second favourite, 'Italian Cypress', trained by S S F Hassan, and confidently piloted by jockey Akshay Kumar, won the Division I of the 1400M Raja Mehboob Karan Memorial Cup, the feature events of 18th day of Hyderabad Monsoon Races held here today.
Lakshman Singh trained 'Crown Royal' (P S Chouhan, astride) triumphed in the Division II of the cup.
Trainer D Netto scored quadruplet while jockeys G Naresh and Dashrath S scored a double each.
Two first favourites obliged in a card of nine events.
