Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief Saifuddin Soz today condemned the killing of four persons in firing by security forces in Shopian district.
"I strongly condemn the unfortunate incident in which security forces killed four youth in Shopian. It is a deplorable act and is highly painful," Soz said in a statement.
Requesting the state government to present the facts of the incident before people, he said, "I make a strong plea with the state government to share the verified facts with the people of Jammu and Kashmir."
Four persons, including two civilians were killed by CRPF personnel yesterday after they came under fire from militants in the Gagran area of Shopian.
