J-K govt cancels attachment of teachers from Gurez, Tulail to

The Jammu and Kashmir government has cancelled the attachment of teachers posted in Gurez and Tulail areas to other nearby places, nearly a month after they complained to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti over the issue.

The state government cancelled the deployment of teachers posted in the two areas and working in other places like Dawar with immediate effect, according to an official spokesman.

On October 31, several teachers had complained to Mufti that they were appointed for Gurez and Tulail areas but have been deployed to places like Bandipora. They told her that this hampered the quality of education at schools in the area.
