J'khand labour deptt to set up camps for registering unorg sec

The labour department of Jharkhand will soon set up camps to get labour force in the unorganised sector registered, enabling them to get benefits as per the Labour Act.

Giving directions to officials of the labour department in this connection, Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said his government intended to bring all those working in the unorganised sector into the ambit of Labour Act for their benefit.

After getting them registered, Das said the officials should ensure that the unskilled labour force get skill training so that they could improve their standard of living, an official release said here.

The officials were also instructed to get into "mission mode" and make the labour force aware of all the ongoing schemes undertaken by the department.
