Jail inmate detected HIV positive

An inmate of district jail here has been tested HIV positive, Jail Superintendent said.

"During medical examination of all prisoners, one of them was tested HIV positive," Jail Superintendent Bhairon Singh Nathawat said while quoting the chief doctor of the team which conducted the tests.

The prisoner was recently shifted from Sikar Jail, he added.
