Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who was readmitted in a hospital here for a post-surgery check-up, is "recovering satisfactorily", the hospital said in a statement tonight.
"Shri Arun Jaitley had undergone a surgery for his metabolic disorder three weeks ago. He was admitted for evaluation of post-operative gastro intestinal infection. The medical management of his condition has been optimally addressed and he is recovering satisfactorily", said the statement issued by Max Hospital, Saket.
Jaitley was admitted in the hospital on Sunday for a post-operation check-up.
