Jaya launches new bldgs for Commercial Tax dept

: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has inaugurated new integrated buildings for the commercial tax department set up at a cost of Rs 60.50 crore.

Through a video-conference facility from the Secretariat, Jayalalithaa recently inaugurated the complexes set up at various parts of the State, an official release said.

Since the commercial tax department and sub-registrar offices present were earlier operating in rented premises, the AIADMK government introduced a scheme under which new buildings were constructed.
