Prices of jeera and turmeric prices traded higher by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on fresh buying by stockists following uptick in demand against restricted arrivals from producing belts.
Marketmen said stockists buying on the back of pick up in demand from retailers amid restricted supplies from producing belts mainly attributed the rise in jeera and turmeric prices.
Jeera common and jeera best quality went up by Rs 100 each to Rs 18,500-19,000 and Rs 21,000-21,500 per quintal, respectively.
