Jeev is now four-under 212 for three days, while leader Yuta Ikeda, the winner here in 2009, took his lead to two shots as he carded a 68 and moved to 14-under for 54 holes.

Ryo Ishikawa, who played the first two rounds with Jeev Milkha Singh, continued his upward move with a flawless 66, that included five birdies and an eagle on the par-five 13th.

He shared the second place with Taichi Teshima (65), who had eight birdies and a bogey, and the third man in the shared second place was Jung-Gon Gwang (67), all of them at 12-under.

Tied fifth at 10-under were Shigeki Maruyama (69) and Toshinori Muto (67).

Jeev lost the momentum early in the round and dropped three bogeys on the front-nine to turn in three-over. He then gave away a fourth bogey on 11th, but birdies on 12th and 13th saved him from a complete disaster.

Jeev has four titles in Japan, two each in 2006 and 2008.
