Jeff Goldblum almost became the voice of Apple

Actor Jeff Goldblum says he almost became the voice of the tech giant company, Apple when the co-founder-CEO Steve Jobs called him up "decades ago" to ask if he was up for the job.
The 64-year-old actor says he did not recognise Jobs, as the company was not that famous then, reported The Independent.
"Steve Jobs called me up a few decades ago to be the voice of Apple. That was early on, and I did not know it was Steve Jobs," Goldblum said on Australia's "Today Show".
Eventually, the job went to VO artiste Susan 'Siri' Bennett, whose voice is being used on Apple devices ever since the iPhone 4G.
