Jessica Chastain, Octavia Spencer to star in holiday comedy

Actor Jessica Chastain is reuniting with her "The Help" co-star Octavia Spencer for a new holiday comedy film.

The film, which was bagged by Universal Studios in a bidding war, is centred around the two ladies' obstacle course-like journeys back home in time for Christmas, reported Variety.

Chastain, who also co-wrote the treatment with Kelly Carmichael, is also producing the film with her company Freckle Films.

Carmichael, Celine Rattray, and Trudie Styler are also on board the project as producers.
