Jeweller shot at, ornaments looted

Rakesh Kumar was on way to his village yesterday when three youths on a motorcycle shot at him and snatched away his bag containing gold and silver ornaments worth lakhs of rupees in Kudh Fatehgarh police station area, they said.

The jeweller, who was seriously injured, was referred to a Moradabad hospital and a hunt has been launched to nab the accused, police added.
