Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today laid the foundation stone of Urban Haat at Kanke's Hatia-Gonda here, where handicraft among other items would be sold.
"The Urban Haat should be completed within two years," he told the officials concerned, adding his government is committed to bring smile on the face of the poor and help them to lead life in a dignified manner.
Das announced that other districts too will have Urban Haats, an official release said.
Asserting that the state's development can speed up with everyone's cooperation, he said, "Change can happen with positive thought (process)."
The Chief Minister said Ranchi has to be brought among the top 10 'swachh' cities for which cooperation of everyone is required.
