Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today ordered an inquiry into yesterday's clash between two groups in Jamshedpur.
Das directed setting up a two-member committee, which included Deputy Inspector General of Police (Kolhan) R K Dhan, to look into the incident and take stringent action against the guilty, an official release said here.
The chief minister appealed for peace.
Prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC had been imposed in Mango police station area of the steel city yesterday night following the clash over an alleged eve-teasing incident.
