Jharkhand government today announced an amount of Rs 100 each for sanitation workers on the occasion of Viswakarma Puja and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, an official release said here.
"Safai karmacharis (sanitation workers) and others working in different departments got or will get Rs 100 in their bank accounts," it said, adding, the workers would also get the money on May 1.
