JK Gujjars demand implementation of Tribal Sub Plan

Led by Bhartiya Gujjar Mahasabha President Eshfaq-ur Rehman Poswal, they raised slogans against the government for ignoring the ST community and failure to properly implement TSP and held demonstrations in border town of Sunderbani in Rajouri district.

Poswal said the government wants to solve the problems of the downtrodden community by mere lip service where as the need of the hour is to go to the grass root level and assess the pathetic condition of the community members.

He said the implementation of centrally sponsored schemes for the welfare of Gujjars, Bakkerwals and other ST communities is negligible.
