The activists of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today held a protest outside the office of Services Selection Board (SSB) here alleging delay in the announcement of candidates selected for the post of 'General Line Teacher' for Jammu and Udhampur districts.
The activists, led by party chairman Harsh Dev Singh, and party president Balwant Singh Mankotia staged a protest outside the office of SSB at Bahu Plaza.
Harsh Dev Singh said that it has been more than two years since the interviews for these posts were conducted by the board but the list of selected candidates of both the districts has not been announced so far.

Accusing SSB of delaying announcement of list of selected candidates "without any reason", Singh claimed that the board had announced the results of all the districts of Kashmir Division in 2013-14 and the appointees have already joined the services.
"However, uncertainty is still prevailing over the fate of thousands of teacher aspirants from Jammu and Udhampur districts who had applied for the posts," Singh said.
