Jobless young woman ends her life

Apparently depressed over not getting a job, a 23-year-old woman, an MBA graduate, committed suicide at her house in Rahamat Nagar area here today, police said.

B Madhavi, who had completed her MBA three months ago, was searching for a job. Depressed over not finding one, she hanged herself from the ceiling of her room today, said inspector S Venkat Reddy of Jubilee Hills police station.

"She belonged to Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh and was alone at home at the time of the incident," he said.
