Several journalists today staged a sit-in protest in front of the Collectorate office here, over demands of 'Health cards' and accreditation to all journalists in the state.
Alleging neglect by the state government, the journalists, under the banner of Telangana Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ), said that they have not been issued 'Health cards', as was promised after the state's formation.
TUWJ president Nagunoori Shekhar warned of a "Chalo Assembly" march during the Winter session of the state Assembly, if the demands are not met.
