Junior doctors of the Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital (CNMCH) went on a flash strike for a few hours today demanding adequate security at work place.
The protests started after some of the junior doctors were allegedly heckled by people when a patient, suffering from dengue, died at the hospital yesterday.
In the morning the junior doctors went on a strike demanding police posting at the emergency ward of the hospital so that such incidents were not repeated.
