Justin Bieber pleads in ATV assault case, avoids jail time

Singer Justin Bieber has received "absolute discharge" after pleading guilty to simple assault and careless driving during an ATV-minivan incident involving ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez and two paparazzi.
Bieber, 21, only has to pay a USD 750 fine without any jail time or probation, reported Los Angeles Times.
Bieber's representatives did not immediately respond. A judge warned the pop star that the lesson in this case was to "think before you act in the future."
