K M Mammen Mappillai's wife dead

Popularly known as 'Mrs K M Mammen' in industry circles, Kunjamma (87) passed away around 1 am at a private hospital they said.

She is survived by three sons -- K M Mammen, Vinu Mammen, Arun Mammen--and daughter Ramani Joseph,they said.

Another son, Ravi Mammen had died earlier.

Mammen Mappillai passed away in 2003.

Mammen Mappillai and Kunjamma, a chemist, worked in the company's Tiruvottiyur plant nere here, when the former started out in a small way manufacturing balloons.
