Kalpataru Power jumps over 9 pc on new orders

Shares of Kalpataru Power today surged over 9 per cent after the company said it has secured orders worth Rs 1,320 crore from Power Grid Corp.

The stock soared 9.20 per cent to Rs 223.70 on BSE.

On NSE, it jumped 9.43 per cent to Rs 224.40.

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) has received new orders of over Rs 1,320 crore, the company said in a BSE filing yesterday.

The order includes 765-kv turnkey transmission line project of Vemagiri-Chilakaluripeta of about Rs 778 crore and the Gadarwara-Warora line of Rs 353 crore.

The firm also bagged Rs 77-crore transmission line supply project for an ultra mega solar park in Andhra Pradesh and Rs 44-crore sub-station contract.
 

Besides, the company also got turnkey transmission line project of Rs 73 crore in Abu Dhabi.
