Senior Karnataka BJP leader and party spokesman Suresh Kumar today claimed in a tweet that BJP legislature party leader B S Yeddyurappa would be sworn in as chief minister tomorrow, but deleted it later.
"B S Yeddyurappa will take oath as chief minister at 9.30 am at Raj Bhavan tomorrow. Let us all gather on this happy occasion," Kumar said in a tweet in Kannada around 8 pm.
But within an hour, the tweet was deleted.
Karnataka BJP's official Twitter handle also tweeted about Yeddyurappa's swearing in tomorrow but later deleted it.
There was, however, no official communique from Raj Bhavan.
Both JDS-Congress combine and BJP have staked claim to form the government after a fractured verdict in the assembly elections.
