Karunanidhi greets Rahul on his birthday

DMK President M Karunanidhi today extended greetings to Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on his 46th birthday.

"My hearty wishes to you for a very happy birthday today. I sincerely wish you a long life dedicated to the cause of the people, especially the downtrodden.

"I wish you success in all your endeavours. Kindly take care of your health," Karunanidhi said in his message.

At the Congress office here, a giant cake in the shape of 46, commemorating the birthday of Rahul Gandhi, was cut by party functionaries.

The cake was cut by Tamil Nadu Congress Committee Treasurer N Ramachandran and was distributed among party cadres, a party release said.
