A cadre of proscribed

KCP(Maoist) was apprehended by a combined team of Manipur police commandos and 17 Assam Rifles personnel, a police statement said here today.

The 25-year-old cadre was apprehended last night from Nongren Mayai Leikai, said the release.

Five live rounds of 9mm ammunitions were also seized from his possession, it added.
