Expressing grief at the Kurla fire incident which claimed 8 lives, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said he has instructed the BMC commissioner Ajoy Mehta to take immediate review to avoid such incidents in future.
He also directed that strict action be taken against those responsible.
"Saddened by the Kurla fire incident. Instructed BMC commissioner to take immediate review to avoid such incidents in future and also asked for strict action against the responsible," Fadnavis tweeted.
Eight persons, including seven college students, were charred to death when a blaze broke out in a hotel in suburban Kurla yesterday.
