Catering to the demand, railways will launch a new train between Kurukshetra and Mathura from tomorrow.
Except Thursday and Sunday, the five-day week Kurukshetra-Mathura Express will depart from Kurukshetra from December 6 at 2.55 PM to arrive at Mathura at 9.40 PM the same day, said a senior Railway Ministry official.
In the return direction the Mathura - Kurukshetra will depart from Mathura from December 7 at 5.30 AM to arrive at Kurukshetra at 12.40 PM the same day.

Comprising of 5 Deendayalu coaches, 2 general second class, 2 Chair Car and one AC Chair Car besides two luggage-cum-disabled friendly coaches the Mathura - Kurukshetra Express train will stop at Chhata, Kosi Kalan, Palwal, Faridabad, Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi, Subzi Mandi, Sonepat, Samalkha, Panipat and Karnal stations enroute in both the directions.
The inaugural run of Kurukshetra-Mathura Express train will be on December 6 from Kurukshetra station.
