Lady doc robbed of 9 sovereigns of jewellery

: A lady doctor was relieved of nine sovereigns of gold jewellery at knife point by a man at nearby Periyasemur village today, police said.

The man entered the doctor's house this afternoon and ordered her to remove her jewels at knife point and later fled the spot, they said.

The woman's husband later filed a complaint, police said.
