Lady Gaga to perform with Tony Bennett on New Year's Eve

Pop star Lady Gaga will perform with her 'Cheek to Cheek' duet partner Tony Bennett on the New Year's Eve.

The duo will be taking the stage at The Cosmopolitan casino for their first show together in the US since they released their album 'Cheek to Cheek' late last month, reported Aceshowbiz.

The Las Vegas Strip resort announced the on Monday, October 6. Gaga, 28, and the 88-year-old jazz musician will perform jazz standards from their joint effort.

"We wanted to one-up ourselves for what people can expect. It's such an unexpected mashup, you just want to see it," Lisa Marchese, the chief marketing officer of The Cosmopolitan, said of having Gaga and Bennett perform at the event.

"I can't wait to kick off 2015 'cheek to cheek' with the legendary Mr Tony Bennett. New Year's celebrations are about cherishing family, friendship, and the future - three things this man has taught me much about," Gaga said in a statement.
