Press Trust of India Jaipur
Former Congress MP Meenakshi Natrajan today accused the Rajasthan government of working against the interests of farmers by passing new land acquisition bill which according to her has several anomalies.

Addressing a meeting of Rajiv Gandhi Panchayti Raj Sangathan at PCC office here, Natrajan said that that the government has ignored several aspects like farmers' rehabilitation in the bill and was against the principles of the Constitution.

She said that the new legislation was full or anomalies and would suit only capitalists which indicated that the government was working for the interest of capitalists only.

Natrajan, President of the Sangathan, said that the government has passed this bill with bad intentions so Congress is opposing it and has decided to run a campaign to make people and farmers informed about the government's act against the farmers.
