Larbourers' kins under MG-NREGA to get Rs 75,000

After meeting the Block Development officers and circle officers, Deputy Commissioner Manish Ranjan directed them to pay the amount to the kin of the deceased who died before August 1, 2011 during implementation of projects.

He also announced that if any MG-NREGA worker, having a job card, died of natural causes his or her family would get an ex-gratia amount of Rs 30,000.

The DC asked all the officials to remain acquainted with the conditions of all such families.
