Lawyer and his associate surrender in a court

The lawyer, Narendra Dev and his assistant Madhusudan Singh, surrendered before before the Chief Judicial Magistrate S P Mishra who remanded them to 14 days judicial custody.

First-class judicial magistrate Sangita Rani had lodged a case at the SC/ST police station on October 5 charging the lawyer and his associate with misbehaving with her and using caste to denigrate her after she had refused to pass an order in their favour.
