Lawyers and law clerks at the court here today locked up the GRO office from morning till evening protesting lack of communication between the police and court officials.
Lawyers have alleged that communication gap between the police and court officials due to shortage of staff was leading to harassment of people for long and the authorities paid no heed to the continuing plight of the public.
Commenting on the matter, Additional SP Koteshwar Rao said it was a court matter and higher authorities have been informed about today's incident.
