Demanding establishment of a new bench of Allahabad High Court in western Uttar Pradesh, lawyers of bar associations of all 22 districts falling in the region today said they will go for a relay sit-in at Jantar Mantar in Delhi from tomorrow.
"The Kendriya Sangharsh Samiti of the lawyers' association, in a meeting held in Bulandshahr yesterday, has finalised a roaster for the relay sit-in at Jantar Mantar for all 22 district bar associations," Ghaziabad Bar Association President Anil Pandit said here today.
Pandit said the sit-in may go on for months until the demand is met.

Lawyers from Meerut court will stage a sit-in tomorrow in this regard while from January 8 to 10, lawyers from Ghaziabad, Hapur and Gautam Buddha Nagar districts will stage the sit-ins respectively, he said.
Pandit said a "two-day work and four-day strike" formula has also been sketched by the advocates in the meeting to ease out the difficulties faced by litigants and jail inmates in getting bail.
