Press Trust of India New Delhi
Amid profit-booking by speculators and low demand at domestic spot markets, lead prices fell by 0.48 per cent to Rs 114.00 per kg in futures trade today.

In futures trading at Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in July shed 55 paise, or 0.48 per cent to Rs 114.00 per kg in business turnover of 622 lots.

Similarly, the metal for delivery in June eased by 50 paise, or 0.44 per cent to Rs 112.95 per kg in 6,429 lots.

Market analysts said besides profit-booking by speculators at existing levels, fall in demand from battery market in the spot market mainly led to fall in lead prices at futures trade.
