Lead futures dropped 15 paise at Rs 155.95 per kg in futures trade on Thursday due to subdued demand at the physical market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead to be delivered in October traded lower by 15 paise, or 0.1 per cent, at Rs 155.95 per kg in a business turnover of 817 lots.
Similarly, lead contracts for November delivery declined by 5 paise, 0.03 per cent, to Rs 156.80 per kg in a business turnover of 240 lots.
Analysts said low demand from battery-makers in the spot market mainly led to fall in lead prices at futures trade here.
