Leopard captured from Udhampur

A team of the wildlife protection department captured a leopard in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district today, officials said.

Panic spread among residents of the Jeeva area here after the leopard was spotted roaming freely in the locality, they added.

A team of wildlife protection department officials was dispatched that captured the big cat and took it to a sanctury, they said.
