A leopard which is suspected to be
responsible for two deaths in Murbad tehsil was shot dead late this evening.
Divisional forest officer Kishor Thackeray said the forest officials spotted and shot the animal.
The leopard is suspected to have killed a woman and a man and several cattle heads in the last couple of weeks.
