Leopard trapped by forest officials in Nashik

A leopard that had strayed into a village in Satana taluka of the district was trapped by forest department officials this afternoon.

The animal had entered village Dangsoundane early today and killed some hens and a goat, said police.

The villagers informed forest officials, who used a tranquiliser gun to make the animal unconscious and later took it to forest, said the official.
