Rocker Liam Gallagher has taken his band to a trip to the Royal Observatory and Planetarium here. The 40-year-old singer and his 'Beady Eye' bandmates went to the planetarium for an interactive tour of the stars and planets and learnt how those objects have been landed on Mars, reported the Daily Star. "It's not the place you'd expect to see a rock star like Liam. Perhaps he was getting inspiration for his music," a visitor to the planetarium said. "Everyone was shocked when he swaggered through, looking mesmerised as he peered through the telescopes. He even got to see the birth of a star," the visitor added. Gallagher has previously said that he is taking Beady Eye's music in a "psychedelic" direction, and looking at different influences when it has been time to record. "We've gone for the full Pink Floyd trip, man. There's the psychedelic stuff and then the rock 'n' roll bangers. Our producer Dave called up our manager and told him to get a brass band round sharpish one day. "If it makes it a better record, I'm having it, man. I'm buzzing for it. It's going to blow people's minds," he added.
