Light to moderate rain lowered the temperature much to the comfort of the citizens of Bihar today.

Patna recorded the maximum temperature of 35.8 degrees Celsius against 36.7 degrees Celsius yesterday, state Met office said.

Gaya registered the highest temperature in the state at 38.2 degrees Celsius.

Bhagalpur and Purnea registered 36.6 and 35 degrees Celsius temperature respectively.

The state weather office forecast partly clear sky with possibility of rain or thunder tomorrow.

It further predicted that mercury would remain similar tomorrow too.

The easing of temperature was a welcome relief for the citizens from the hot and humid weather prevailing in Patna and other parts of the state for quite some days.
