Light rain likely in parts of Bengal

West Bengal is likely to receive light rain in different parts of the state in the next two days, as some places in the western districts received moderate showers today.
Bankura recorded 54.3 mm precipitation, the highest in the state in 24 hours till 8.30 AM this morning, the Met department said.
Sriniketan in Birbhum district received 46 mm rainfall, while Burdwan got 28.7 mm during the said period.

The metropolis received one or two showers since yesterday, recording a rainfall of 9.4 mm.
The weatherman forecast overcast sky with one or two spells of rain during the next two days in the Gangetic West Bengal.
The sub-Himalayan districts of Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduars and Coochbehar are likely to experience increased rainfall in the next two days, the Met department said.
