Light rains and thundershowers occurred at isolated places over western parts in Uttar Pradesh while weather was mainly dry over eastern areas of the state.
Night temperatures rose appreciably in Varanasi, Faizabad, Allahabad, Lucknow, rose in Kanpur, Agra and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state, a MeT report said.
They were appreciably above normal in Allahabad, Lucknow, above normal in Varanasi, Faizabad, Agra and were normal in the remaining divisions of the state.
Rain and thunder showers will be witnessed at many places in west Uttar Pradesh and at few places in eastern areas of the state, the MeT department predicted.
