Lightning kills one in AP

, Oct 14 PTI) A 31-year-old farm worker allegedly died after being struck by lightning at Pedayadara village in Krishna district Sunday, a Revenue official said.

The incident occurred when B Jagapathi Rao, an agriculture labourer was returning home from the field, Machilipatnam Mandal Tahsildar K Srinivas said adding heavy rains lashed the village this afternoon.

A case has been registered, police said.
